The Basement tapes!!
(Columbus, Ohio, USA) In an exclusive to db.net, we captured this new bluegrass quartet preparing for their upcoming fall tour. Our cameras caught up with the band at their remote summer ranch, jamming in the basement!! The Grandview Mountain Boys formed in August of 2008, and their upcoming tour has been eagerly anticipated by ardent fans and critics alike. Their recent release, “Hard Hearted” brings to mind the sounds of “Jim and Jessie” from the mid 70′s, but with a new millennium twist. The GV Boys have updated all the elements of this classic, including the hairstyles. Their lead singer seems to reverberate the halcyon days when (the now legendary) Harley Staggers roamed the stages of Montgomery, WV, Pittsburgh, PA, and Buffalo, NY.
